Research Essay: The SFHRMTX Analysis
One of several melodic numbers transcribed in 1937 including Walking the Dog by George Gershwin for the Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers’s movie score for Shall We Dance. It is a part of song that has made the climax of the happy and strong environment of infection.
Texture and Harmony
The texture of the song was to use the polyphony and homophony combined together. It was used as a background music of the film and that is the reason it ended ghastly and rapidly. It has also some moments that witched from one music to other to show the change of switch to other scenes. The travelers on board an extravagance liner were hiking their dogs around the deck when this music was displayed. This is sequence called as Promenade and was published in 1960. Rhythm and genre of the music is essentially important to observe the technical details. It is relevant to the soothing impact of the music that it has good period and style. The rhythmic beats are utilized to generate a pulse among listeners to amuse them. Quite and soothing effects are generated by using polyphony and monophony in Walking the Dog. Xtras has been observed to have reliving impact on listeners. Various analysis has shown that music can also increase rating of the films. It has been observed that good music particularly Promenade type having good xtras elements always generate higher rating of films. Background music can create awareness among viewers regarding characters presented in the films. The texture used in the Walking the Dog was a combination of two counterfeits, therefore, it has strong association with the characters. Walking the Dog has a strong atmosphere of melody and infection. The polyphony and homophony has linked the music with the background to help the viewers understand the situation displayed in the film.
