Executive Summary
The meeting was quite stressful as the employees were not aware of where they stand. It is evident that a change is much needed and the kind of difference that will be painted in the company has to reassure the workers that they have standing. It can be very difficult trying to instill a change in a company, especially if it is as well-known as the Red Carpet. The kind of change that I believe will be perfect for the company is Developmental Change. The reason behind that is that the business is already well established it just needs to be improved. As long as the staff is well updated about the change, we will be good to go. However, it will be necessary that training is to be given to the employees, which will aid them in implementing process improvements. The workers, in fact, should be able to feel a little stress for the developmental change. In this change we will need to improve the reporting and billing method the payroll procedures will need an updating as well. Further, a refocus of the advertisement and marketing processes needs to be required (Becker, KnyphausenAufse Brem, 2015). Development change is basically the first stage or step that can be taken to make changes to the business that will later help meet the demands of the rigorous market. This will ensure to everyone in the company that substantial, measurable and sensible approach is being taken to bring about the change. The employees higher in the hierarchy need to be explained the rationale of the change. They need to be taught the new technology and processes. Lastly, we will be showing all the employees our commitment to reducing the influence of change on our business.
